Been looking around for a bargain LEGALLY BLONDE, THE MUSICAL tickets everywhere. I guess today is our lucky day, courtesy of facebook:

"We're giving our facebook fans an exclusive ticket deal for one night only! Call 0844 871 7687 and quote FACEBOOK FAN to get £10 seats for the performance on Tuesday 9th November. Ps. These tickets are strictly subject to availability. *snaps!*"

Already, got mine at the grand circle. So quick guys.... there's £3 fee (not sure it's £3 per order or £1.50 per tix since I b*ght 2). But still a bargain!

Not sure where to post this as it will relate mainly to plays/shows/concerts but they're not free, so it can't go in the dedicated thread.

Anyway, both ATG (Ambasador Theatre Group) and Ticketweb (booking site) and maybe others are running advent calendars with a different offer each day.

Today's TW offer is for £15 tickets to "Urban Nerds" on NYE, which means nothing to me but presumably will to some here. Code is "ADVENT".

Today's ATG offer is best available tix for "Legally Blonde" for £39.50, but only for certain days/dates and this is no better than you can find on Theatremonkey and elsewhere so probably worth comparing if you are keen to book for this.

Today's ATG offer: glass of mulled wine and mince pie with "A Flea In Her Ear" ticket, 4 - 24 December. However, I checked and there's no discount on the ticket prices so I don't rate this one. I know several people here have talked of seeing this production and I would also be interested but am waiting for the reviews and, I hope, half-price seats from TKTS!

Today's TW offer is BOGOF (b*y one, get one free) for the NME Xmas Party at Koko on Friday 10 December. Code is again "Advent".

Romeo & Juliet

The Royal Ballet is thrilled to announce that it will dance a unique production of Romeo and Juliet at The O2 arena on 17, 18 and 19 June 2011.
It will be the first time the world-renowned ballet company has danced in a UK arena and, in order to fully celebrate the occasion, there will be up to 2000 specially-priced £10 tickets at every performance.

An all star cast of Royal Ballet dancers including Carlos Acosta, Tamara Rojo, Alina Cojocaru, Johan Kobborg, Edward Watson and Mara Galeazzi will dance the roles of the famous star-crossed lovers for four shows, plus an exclusive young persons' performance.*

Don't think anyone has posted this yet and I've seen barely any mention of it, but the annual "Get Into London Theatre" (GILT) scheme is running again, with some quite good (depending on show) discounts on a range of shows/plays. This year there seems to be a really good mix of plays, musicals, fringe productions, etc.

This is the link to the A-Z list:

http://www2.seetickets.com/gilt2011/showsearch.asp

The deals are for Jan and/or Feb so far as I can see. If you use the TKTS booth or other discount sites, it's worth comparing deals but I've found what I wanted with "GILT" either cheaper or with better seats, so it works for me.

I was just going to post about this as well.

Ms Thrifty has said most of it now, but just to mention that it's worth checking the main site as well if you are also interested in guided tours and walks etc.

This is going to be announced soon:

"I wanted to let you know that we have recently signed a deal with London’s largest theatre group for 2 for 1 theatre tickets, available for View Card members.

Theatre deals will appear on the site shortly and will include offers on a range of smash hit West End shows as well as successful UK tours. The offers will receive a huge marketing push, both onsite and through our affiliates, ensuring maximum coverage to both current View Card members and potential View Card members.

We are confident that this major development will have a hugely positive impact on the growth of the View Card, reinforcing the View Card’s position as a lifestyle card in its own right."
