Die Hard 2??? Not quite runawaydovetail wrote:Not so sure a story about a runaway train is Hollywood scraping the barrel. There was a film in 1985 called "Runaway Train" starring Jon Voight which received positive reviews. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Runaway_Train_(film)
There's been several great films featuring runaway transport: Taking of Pelham 123 (both original and remake), Diehard 2 and of course,my all time favourite, Speed!

Re: Unstoppable
I was just reading about it supposedly being based on true events, all I could find was .........
Two of the train's tank cars contained thousands of gallons of the hazardous material molten phenol acid, a toxic ingredient of paints and dyes harmful when it is inhaled, ingested or comes into contact with the skin.
"The public was never really in jeopardy, other than we had a train that was sort of out of control for about two hours," Hosfeld said.
and
"We're just all happy that it ended without any injuries. That's always the number one issue for us: Safety first," said Corry Schiermeyer with the Federal Railroad Administration"
So, nobody was in danger, nothing got broke, nobody died, the fastest speed it reached was 47 mph, and it was barely a blip on the national news.
If think it looks good, but if the story is not up to scratch there is always the eye candy

On second thoughts, yes, perhaps Die hard 2 is more runway than runaway!

Could someone please tell me if I need to p*rchase a Daily Mail to confirm entry to Unstoppable? Over on Moneysavingexpert it says I do, but there isn't any mention of it here? I'm hoping that I don't! Thanks for any help. OMRxx

Re: Unstoppable
Well, from my own personal experience it's no - I once b*ght a copy of the Daily Mail because it said I had to on one of my free tickets, but they certainly didn't ask for it when I went to the cinema. Like it says bring I.D. but they never ask for it.oldmotherreilly wrote:Could someone please tell me if I need to p*rchase a Daily Mail to confirm entry to Unstoppable?
