Well, the person who wrote the e-mail said that, that doesn't mean that whoever mans the doors will say the same. You better print off the e-mail!

Re: 50/50
I was thinking the same thing. Sundays are my only days off and i was waiting for a 50/50 code for a sunday. Hopefully they'll include Greenwich in another code.Beate wrote:Why is Greenwich PH not on that list of cinemas?
Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Re: 50/50
I am laziness personified. My office is a 10 minute walk from Holloway Odeon - but I can't be bothered to go. I think it's because I watched the first 45 minutes before the "fire" evacuation last time and even though I was gradually getting into the film, I don't fancy watching that bit again.
Plus the fact that I'm tired & hungry... and I've got tickets for the Islington screening next week.

Re: 50/50
HA! Victory is mine! So I arrived at WIQ and OH told me he was on the upper floor, then when I got there he said the usher told him to wait in the bar. I wasn't having any of that so approached the usher myself who said it was in screen 1 but to wait in the bar. Like we would, not after last time's fiasco. So we went down to screen 1 where I showed the usher there our ticket printout and was told, "yeah, fine, wait in front of the screen." We were joined by MCM and quite a few other people and all of a sudden some manager type comes with another usher (safety in numbers?) and says "Guys, could you wait in the bar please till the screen is ready?"
So I piped up and told him that we most certainly wouldn't as we lost the best seats last time round due to not being informed in time that the screen was ready, and that this wasn't fair - this was the screen, and this was where we were going to stay. "Erm, did the usher tell you to come here?" "He said which screen number it was so we came here." "Erm, you, er, well...." flustered and ran off, never to bother us again.
