I think last year they just ended with a round up of some awards so I guess they will do that again this year!

Re: BAFTAs 2010
It's nice that they haven't pushed her off though. With the Oscars they start playing music loudly and cut people off if they go on too long, seems really disrespectful to do that.

yeah it's great I was reading the lovefilm predictions earlier and I think it's probably right that Avatar will pick up the Oscars partly for commercial reasons so it's nice that the Hurt Locker get's something here. Although it would be nice to think it'll to a slumdog millionare and win over there too!

Re: BAFTAs 2010
I'm waiting till after The Blind Side to finalise my choices. That's why I was so miffed about Crazy Heart, it won't be out here till 19th March, so I'm going to have to guess about how good that is. Other than those two I think I've seen most of the films nominated.Beate wrote:I think I have to seriously rethink my Oscar predictions!

Re: BAFTAs 2010
Loved Andrea Arnold's acceptance speech for Fish Tank - never thought I would hear about camping sites at the BAFTAs. I was really shocked at Vaness Redgrave curtseying to William Windsor, however, I thought she was a communist (well a Trotskyite at least).
