Makes me wonder why I never get the film quotes!

I got this one from a "really hard riddles" page but I think you will probably get it straight away:

Because cigars cannot be entirely smoked, a hobo who collects cigar butts can make a cigar to smoke out of every 5 butts that he finds. Today, he has collected 25 cigar butts. How many cigars will he be able to smoke?

A bus driver was heading down a street in New York. He went right past a stop sign without stopping, he turned left where there was a "no left turn" sign and he went the wrong way on a one-way street. Then he went on the left side of the road to pass a cop car. Still - he didn't break any traffic laws. Why not?
