Have a whale of a time at the N1 Centre this half term

Be sure to get there early so that you don’t miss out!!

Ahoy me hearties! Discover a pirate’s paradise at the N1 Centre on 1st November when an inflatable 50ft giant whale and some sea-faring friends are marooned in the central piazza from 11am-3pm.

Follow us into the whale’s belly, where a stunning seascape is revealed. Once inside, meet a shipwrecked pirate and a treasure-hoarding mermaid. Gather round and listen to their enchanting fishy-tales.

We’ve blagged 5,000 free tickets (usually £8) to all three days of the Southern Home Show at Alexandra Palace in London (31 Jan – 2 Feb 2014). The tickets are available until Sat 30 Nov or before all 5,000 are claimed.

LIGHT NIGHTS
1 - 3 November 2013
Venue: the north of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

A stunning celebration of light, based on the theme of Diwali. Daily from 4pm to 9pm.

Come along to this free event suitable for all the family and explore the north of the Park and the river in their illuminated glory at night. You’ll be able to walk the Tumbling Bay playground after dark illuminated in beautiful colours whilst listening to the history and sounds of the Park’s industrial landscape, the local area, its nature and river through sound installation by Jim Carey.

There will be amazing atmospheric lighting, soundscape and light installations as well as stilt-walkers, fire – jugglers and lantern-making workshops, great seasonal food specials, including mulled wine and pumpkin soup from the Timber Lodge Cafe.
