Going into printers, the printer wont install properly because it can't connect to it, so the printer isnt available as an option :/
Ive figured my Ip is 198.168.1.66, the printer is on 198.168.1.71

I had hoped the printer had installed and just needed configuring. I had one like that.

NB those ip's look wrong, 192 not 198.

Have you tried looking on the Kodak site for updated drivers?

Yeah I've downloaded the updated driver for windows 8 and still nothing, just installed the IP address manually on the computer, everything matches the details on the connection on my laptop and its still not detecting.

I give up.

You shouldn't need to install IE, it should already be there. You probably need to open the printer in IE and configure it there also.
