I watched Battle Royale that I'd recorded previously. Its a very weird film, but I like it.

I watched Page Eight, a BBC spy drama, really great! Really can't wait for tinker tailor soldier spy now!

last night i went to see the inbetweeners! it was great, 8 of us, me with a free voucher and 5 with an o2 priority moments code. brilliant! film was ok, but i was more impressed with our good deal.

I am currently watching the Killing, the american remake and the duch original version. Both are extremely good. Obviously watching Big brother and X Facto two.

BBC have recently had 3 period dramas that have been good, Page Eight, The Hours and Glorious 39 ( you can't beat a bit of Poliakoff)

I watched The Story of Film: An Odyssey on More4. A wonderful, captivating, insightful and well-thought-out documentary on the world's youngest art form. Plenty of archive footage of old films and a very informed narration from Mark Cousins. Bravo. I can't wait for the next installment... apparently it's in 15 parts!

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

The Tourist, Bone Collector and Salt. It was an Angelina Jolie triple bill.
