Its only open to the public one day per year plus its a popular film setting including The Ruling Class and The Haunting. A bit of a trek from Manchester but will be a good day out

Just spent a brilliant day here and well worth the 220 mile round trip. Designed by architect Anthony Salvin "it is an exuberant merging of Gothic, Jacobean and Baroque styles creating an unforgettable and dramatic impact" copied from the leaflet that I was given. I have never seen masonry looking like it was fabric draped across the walls plus Jacobean woodwork done in a Medieval style, it was.just so different and incredible to think that it is still in use as a university for British Studies - What a place to study!

Just wondering if anyone has been to 71a Leonard Street (sometimes called The Church of London) for a free screening? What is the room like? I'm hoping it's not bleacher stands (Korean Cultural Centre)!

I seriously love my bestie Amy.
After all the crap of yesterday/last night, she messaged me today to say my shadowhunter costume was ready, and I could come round and try it on.
Needless to say.
I was blown away, makes putting up with all the shit in life, worth it for moments like that.



Forgive my dreadful hair and face, Id literally just fallen out of bed and rushed over to hers!

Superb costume rawr and mean looking swords. I hope there's a pocket to store a witchlight in. Will be starting City of Ashes soon...
