My OH's phone does not work anymore and tells him to "Insert SIM Card." So I thought I open the back and take the SIM out and I can't find one? I have no idea why he would have taken the SIM out and he obviously can't remember a thing - so what do I do next? HELP!

He might have tried to take it out to fix a SIM card rejected error. Can you call his phone company to report as lost? (I.e. do you have POA for your OH?) If you can get hold of a replacement SIM, they should be able to port number over so he keeps the same one? Due to the urgent need for your OH to have a phone, you may need to b*y a SIM instore, rather than wait for a free one to arrive. Sorry about the spanner in the works, things were going so smoothly for you!

I had a webchat with O2 just now, pretended to be him and said I misplaced it, they said not to worry, he can either have a new one sent within a few days or I can go to any O2 shop with ID and get a new one there and then, and they will activate it, so I will go with him to Lewisham Shopping Centre tomorrow, there is supposed to be one, and get it sorted. I just hope that all his numbers and stuff weren't just stored on the SIM card.

I remember that when they sent us new SIM cards last year because we ported from Carphone Warehouse to proper O2, they sent them via Yodel and they never arrived so I finally lost patience and went to an O2 shop where I got it sorted instantly, so it should work though I have to grovel to my office manager again about being late for work!

Went to the O2 Shop this morning, it was really easy and done within 10 minutes, SIM card was activated and worked straight away. And all his numbers are still there.

I've hated Hotmail for years, I use Gmail myself. There are various viewing options.

I agree totally, I have several :shifty: hotmail accounts and they are all linked and I have different themes to tell them apart. One by one they are changing to outlook and I do not like it at all. Any suggestions appreciated on how to improve how they look or any tips on using outlook as I dont really want to move them all. I have a googlemail account already. I like to keep things in separate accounts.

Can anyone recommend a budget tablet with wifi internet for an 8 year old, she'll want to play the popular games like Subway Surfer (doesn't seem to work on all devices), Angry Birds, 4 pics 1 word etc & to watch iplayer, music on youtube etc. I've seen some for between £50-£100 but don't want to waste the money if they are not really capable of anything.
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!
