What a shock for you pxc! Take some comfort in the fact that she was well looked after by you and died peacefully and wasn't in any pain.

I am so sorry to hear about your mum, pxc. :bighug:

You always took such good care of her and fought her corner whenever she needed you to. I hope that thought brings you comfort, I don't know what it's like to lose a parent and therefore can't comprehend your grief fully, but I am so sorry. My sincere condolences. :bighug:

As it is the Easter break, we cannot do anything until Tuesday.

When I left mum last night, she was fine, clean, comfortable and happy. We spent some quality time together. It is a shock as she was in good health, except her dementia. The post-mortem will be done on Tuesday.

Just spent all morning waiting for the undertakers to take mum to the mortuary, not sure why they took so long, unless it is a bank holiday.

Oh god! I'm so sorry to hear your very sudden & sad news prettyxcool. You are in my thoughts and prayers xx

Thank you everyone for your kind words, it is much appreciated. As you can imagine, I am devastated! My emotions are up and down, tears, grief and sadness of her passing, but love and happiness when I think how she always was. An incredible woman, wonderful and beautiful, kind and generous, and I shall miss her so much, not just because she is mum. RIP 1928-2014
