I thought I posted a response, but it seems to have disappeared. That, must be hard, as you were so young then. Yes, we need to celebrate their life.Diane65 wrote:Prettyxcool you were an amazing daughter and in time you will have lots of happy memories to look back on. Many years ago my father died suddenly at 55 when he was on 2 days leave decorating the hall and just said he had a headache and went to bed and died - I was on my own with him as on my lunch from college. We too had a fabulous relationship but it is the shock of a sudden death that takes a long time to come to terms with before you can start to grieve properly but from the heart it is better that they didn't suffer. Thinking of you and all your family at this sad time.
"Don't be sad I'm gone ...Be happy I was here" I recently saw on a friend's order of service, who died of cancer.
Finally, got mum's post-mortem.
She died of a) haemopericardium b) Dissection of the Thoracic Aorta - for the medical people on here and for the layman, I was told her heart was leaking blood. It was traumatic for us, within seconds, her face went black, body went limp and she collapsed in a heap, she still had a pulse when the paramedics came to resuscitate her, but she is now at peace in heaven.
