Re: Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
Whiteleys starts at 6.30 and doesn't have a double screening, does it?
Anyway: more speculation on the "production guests" at Mayfair, the BFI apparently has a Q/A that night with writer Peter Straughan, director Tomas Alfredson and lead actor Gary Oldman. Just saying

Re: Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
I mean to say that there is no reason for a delay then
(Mayfair has a much later start as it is, with "production guests" apparently, plus there is a double screening too so people who go to the second one can expect a delay)

Re: Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
Fine, no actors
Dear
We are delighted to announce that Sarah Crompton from The Telegraph Newspaper will be introducing the Director and Screenwriter of Tinker, Tailor, Solider Spy - Peter Straughan and Tomas Alfredson tonight at The MayFair Hotel.
Due to tight timings with this screening we would ask all attendees of this screening to be in their seats by 7.10pm prompt to allow a short Q & A prior to start of the film.

So is that just for the first screening then?

Re: Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
I only have tickets for the first screening, so I wouldn't get any notification for the second one.
However both these guys will be at the BFI for the Q/A after the film there too (which starts at 8pm, so is finished around 10pm) which means there won't be much time for them to go back and forth between that and the Mayfair

Re: Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
That's disappointing. So I'll have a delayed start, late finish and no director at the later screening. Tempted to just use my earlier ticket now.

Unless you get someone else? But then you should get an e-mail with info later this day, surely.soonforgotten wrote:That's disappointing. So I'll have a delayed start, late finish and no director at the later screening. Tempted to just use my earlier ticket now.
If you have tickets for the earlier screening though, why don't you just go to that?
