Re: What grinds your gears at the cinema?
You know what really grinds my gears is people who put their dirty, stinky feet on top of the seats, both in front and on their own. Often the smell is unbelievable and that is just the girls. Plus all of the above and any other comments that follow. Its usually two hours at most so I can't see why people need phones, food (drink acceptable) or noise, just stay at home and leave others to watch in peace. Now that what grinds my gears (family guy is one of my favs).

I can't believe the article didn't mention TALKING.
Re: What grinds your gears at the cinema?
(a) People that arrive late & have to discuss loudly where they are going to sit distracting everyone!
(b) People rustling food packaging - I tend to consume snacks before the film or avoid quiet film moments!
(c) People talking to each other or on their mobile phones!!!
(d) Cinemas that don't let you into preview screenings until 5 mins before the start, when they are pa*d for the screen hire and sneakily have their cake & eat it by squeezing in a normal film.
(e) Cinemas that start a film preview late and let people into the screen (for the next show) while the preview is still playing!!!
