I want them saved on both but not displayed twice - how can I achieve that or will I just have to manually delete one number each? And which one?
Can someone help with this?

Also, for the past few days OH has somehow managed to send empty text messages to random people on his contact list, including our landline - he claims he hasn't done anything and when he did it to our landline he was just sitting there on the sofa and I don't think he was playing with his phone - can a phone do this accidentally while in someone's pocket? He didn't lock the keypad. If he keeps doing this I will have to erase all his numbers altogether so he can't go round annoying people.

Your OH has a Nokia, doesn't he? I've just had a look at my brick, and if I open up Contacts and go to Settings, there's an option for Memory in use to be Phone and SIM, Phone or SIM. Selecting either Phone or SIM will only show one set of numbers.

I know it's a different model, but Nokia phones tend to be quite similar in function, so you should hopefully be able to find similar to the above by playing.

Re sending empty texts - anything is possible if the keypad isn't locked! I'm afraid he'll need to start locking his keypad if you want to avoid annoying people.

Thanks - I found that in Contact Settings but you can either choose SIM or phone and whichever you choose, you get both sets showing. How weird is that? I guess I'll just have to delete one set.

Am I being thick with this new Hotmail/Outlook email?

I am trying to send an email and bcc, I click on bcc, but cc comes up and I have to click on that before bcc comes up. Also it keeps listing my frequent contacts. I don't want to send a fr*gging email to them. Anyone help me just get to bcc straightaway and to stop it listing my frequent contacts please.

I just opened a hotmail account just to see what the problem is. When you click on New, just above the To: box is a link which says cc & bcc. Click on that and both boxes appear, the cursor is in the cc box but the bcc box is available. But if you have ANY contacts then the cc box is opened to show your contact list, but it vanishes when you click anywhere else. It comes back when you click on cc or bcc but always vanishes when you click on a blank space.
I don't see how to stop the contacts list appearing - except by not having one - but its very easy to get rid of.

Mine recently changed to Outlook, if I click on BCC both boxes come up, if you click in the BCC box it will start listing you contacts but as you continue to type the address you want to BCC the contacts will go away.
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!

Thanks Steve and Rainey. I dislike this new look hotmail/outlook: a quarter of the page is taken up by the 'To', 'CC' 'BCC' and the subject matter space is big too. I want my old hotmail :).

I can't get full site Twitter on my iPad anymore - does anyone know how to disable the mobile version?

Another Outlook query, is there anyway to change the colour of the print, all I can find is highlight, which looks like you have used a marker pen.
(How I hate this new Outlook, I feel like I have gone back a decade, its so dated, clunky and so much wasted space on the page, everything is so much harder than it was in Hotmail)

Can anyone help with this please?

My computer crashed and I can no longer boot or recover Windows Vista. We've got the "product key" but have not got the original Vista Setup DVD. Any suggestions/help would be much appreciated.
