Don't you think SFF is doing mainly comedy nights and classical concerts these days. The theatre stuff like plays etc and concerts like the ones in the O2 have dried up abit...?

Yeah I was thinking the same. I missed out on all major concerts before and was really hoping to get lucky one time (the one I did actually see in time for tonight I cannot attend!). There's been a few plays recently but they were all still in previews with very few people in the audience and nothing "big" like Design for Living at the Old Vic last year which was fab.

Has SFF offered plays recently? I don't seem to remember...
I did see Butley recently at the Duchess theatre. It's an enjoyable charming performance from Dominic West as a frustrated professor going through a mid life crisis, but ultimately it's nothing more than a frothy situational comedy. Hopefully SFF might offer some tickets for this, even though the performance I was at, it was pretty full. 6.5/10

I saw Conjugal Rites and Prisoner of Windsor through SFF recently, both of which were very small and unknown productions.

No LED festival tickets for this year then. Think it took place last Saturday, just a one day event instead of a weekender. Probably made more sense since they must have struggled to sell tickets last year if they were giving them away.

On the Feis festival front, just in case it's useful for anyone else too: I was interested what the latest time you could get in was, due to the predicted sogginess of Saturday, and due to needing a mega lie-in, don't intend to spend the whole day there and am mostly going to see Bob Dylan. If anyone's in the same boat, apparently they'll close the box office at 7pm, so you need to get in before then.

This may be on the email ticket somewhere, but I didn't see it. But then I didn't notice the part of the barcode email about voluntarily donating an admin fee either! Short attention span maybe...

I actually thought you had to get there quite early (3.30pm at the latest?) as the whole point of the free tickets was that SupaJam wants the smaller/lesser known bands they represent to receive an audience so when you got the free ticket you commit to going early and staying for the long run? I'm sure on the ticket it says that the SupaJam box office is open from 9am till 3.30pm or something along those lines *too lazy to get up and check*

on the email it says:
Please see your ticket vouchers for the event opening time, we recommend you arrive in as early as you can. As with all festivals there will be queues at the ticket booths - please arrive early and be patient - we will get everyone into the festival as quickly as possible so we can all start enjoying it!

And on the ticket voucher it says:
Supajam box office open 9:30am - 3pm, please arrive early!

So does it mean we have to change the ticket vouchers for actual tickets at the Supajam box office?
