Saw it last week and can really recommend it for a 'feel good factor' night out.

A lovely film, effortless class acting and quite a few laughs.

Thanks again to akh43 for the tickets.

I loved this movie. Acting, soundtrack, scenery were all wonderful. I saw this at purley way. 2 people came in late, asked people in my row to move up, then proceeded to talk during many parts of the film! As a teacher, i couldnt be bothered to ask anyone else today to "STOP TALKING!!" so i left them to it!! Other than that I really enjoyed the film.

Excellent cast, top class acting, beautiful scenery. Easy to forgive the slightness of the story. Wish they could have smell-o-vision instead of 3D to evoke India properly.

Saw this today at a packed Wimbledon.

What a charming and funny film. I knew what to expect after having seen the trailer but it drew me in from the first scene. It was a little slow but once they arrived in India, I was mesmerized ( might be my next holiday). Thought dev Patel was great, in fact thought they were all fab.

The romantic scenes, the racism, the 'revelation' of the indian culture: too cliché.
    A few hints of humour.
Typically the kind of film I would start watching if it was on TV, before flicking through the channels now and then, and go back to the film jkust to see the end.
A good film if you don't have plans and want a night out without big expectations.

This was in one word gentle. Daughter and I saw this at a crowded Islington Vue where they asked to see NatWest bank cards for the first time ever. It wasn't exciting or overwhelming but a pleasant enough film with an excellent cast and we enjoyed it.
