Nothing on ticket to indicate that tomorrow's showing is 3D. Like I said previously I don't think 3D does anything to improve on it. 2D was just as good.

It was in 3D at Xscape and we were given glasses. I did have reservations about this movie and how Scottish people would be portrayed by an American company but I'm happy to say it was very good, my 3 year old son watched the entire movie without moving!

Nope he was a wee star and watched it all wearing his glasses. :p
If he had been a monkey I would have ejected him straight away and took him outside to wait. Not sure if he would sit through a live action film yet however.

This film was exquisite!
I found the animation second to none in terms of realism - the hair and the water splashing in particular. Granted the 3D didn't lend itself much and could well be done without, and indeed I'd have been more impressed if the Will o' the Wisps actually seemed to float out of the screen like they could have. Another gripe - and this is again down to the realism, was that Fergus didn't actually look like Billy Connolly! Lol. Sounding like him and looking more real than a cartoon, I'd have expected to see some of his features more. Lol.

The music was enchanting and matched the fantastic scenery perfectly. A total joy to watch. No wonder the Scottish Tourism Agency are doing cartwheels over this!

I loved the way the son of one of the cheiftains had such a strong Aberdonian accent that I found it hard to understand. So pleased that the Scottish accents were perfect and not Americanised charicatures. Mind you they were mostly all Scottish actors after all. Not a Mike Myers or Robin Williams (Mrs Doubtfire) accent among them. Havind said that I couldn't believe my ears when Merida said "Jings, crivvens and help ma boab"! Surely no-one apart from Oor Wullie or The Broons speaks like this? (Apologies if even that reference is lost on most).

A wonderful film and well worth a second watching. I'd even p*y!

Cineworld Unlimited is cheating! ;-)

Cheers for the folk who answered me. :) Actually didn't mind it being 3D, much better than the last time, don't know if it's to do with the digital projection or something like that, but apart from the odd moment where my eyes couldn't keep up with the fast movement I thought it was well done.

Really liked the film as well, typical Disney never disappoints!
