I'm more than mad though, if it the code had just come out as normal it would have been a 5am wake up rather than once an hour. I am grumpy!! Lol
there's no guarantee that we would have the code by 5am some sunday morning codes have appeared really late and we would have all been at the cinema

I know but I would have at least had a few hours straight sleep instead of getting up every hour as was my friend. Braehead had gone by the time the site went back up but was still showing availability when it went down :( plus I would have gone to the corner shop to get the code if it wasn't online

After all this, I think I'd better b*y the paper because I'd be gutted if this is the one time some jobsworth insists on seeing the page

Nothing, a good proportion of SFF codes come from papers and mags and they all have some blurb about taking the page so people are getting in a panic about it. Never mind the dozens of films they've been to that came from a similar situation and they never took a paper and were never asked.

I don't usually bother, but my plus one doesn't live locally and is extending her stay in London just to see this, so I've b*ght the paper and am fully expecting the cinema staff to ignore it.

I'm always happy to take the risk myself of turning up and not getting in - I live in London and have a travel card rather than PAYG, so costs me very little, just the printer ink - but when inviting someone fom far away, I get a little anxious!
Preferred cinemas:
Vue West End, Cineworld Haymarket, Odeon West End, Odeon Leicester Square, Empire Leicester Square, Cineworld O2, Cineworld Shaftesbury Avenue and Odeon Panton Street, followed by anywhere in central(ish) London.

This morning at Wreck-It Ralph which was also Mail on Sunday, they said they were going to check IDs but the Disney tickets don't have any names on them so I'm not sure what they planned to check against. In the event they checked nothing, not even the number of people compared with the ticket.
Preferred Cinemas :
Richmond, Kingston, West End, Wimbledon, Shepherds Bush, Clapham, Westfield, Fulham

They never even kept my ticket. I handed it to him, asked for 3D glasses, he handed me back my ticket and told me the film was in 2D so no need for glasses ... they made this same mistake at Surrey Quays when they showed Life of Pi ...)
