Loved loved loved this!
Cinema (Glasgow Renfrew) wasn't full, which was nice from a having space point of view, but I suppose not so great for the people who would have gone if they'd got tickets.
Definitely worth checking out just for the wonderful directing - 9/10 :)

Brilliantly awesome visual frak-fest.

I was at Enfield cinema and was given a free hat, which i accedently left behind, but meh. Also the projection size was a bit crap (like a tiny tv screen in the middle of the whole screen). But apart from that it was brilliant. One of the best films this year (Inception still takes top place for me, but this comes atleast number 2 in my list)

Saw this at Cineworld Shaftesbury Avenue and it was packed. Sat in the back row with hdaniels82 and friend. Also nice to see ucakpam and OH. We also got a knitted hat and t-shirt being about fourth in the queue. The first guy got both items!!

I thought the film was brilliant, a very original, quirky, fantasy comedy – I suppose it is because I love comics – and I loved the visual effects in the fight scenes and I loved all the characters, and thought they were all well acted. I thorough enjoyed this. A lot of fun. 9/10.

Saw this at Shaftesbury where I was given a hat, would have preferred the t-shirt. I thought the movie was brilliant! It was smart, funny and very entertaining. All the characters played their parts really well. Not sure I would watch it again though, don't think it would be as funny the second time round. Did anyone stay to give a video interview for total film? My brother gave one! Anyway 8.5/10 from us.

Despite this Bolton wasn't nearly full.
Massive Edgar Wright fan, back to his Spaced days, and felt a bit let down. Style and direction was very inventive, and there were nice, funny bits, but overall wasn't very engaging and even a bit dull at times.
Felt like I was watching an amazing video game over someones shoulder, but never got to have a go.

I agree with everythinh you said Yogi. I ot the 3 emails, 1 text a couple of surveys as well.

I was expecting a lot more from this film but ultimatlly was pretty disappointed. I didn't really go for Michael Cera in the lead role at all, can't put my finger on it but for me he wasn't right. I did like the 7 evil ex boyfriends and some of the effects but got pretty tired of the constant writing of things like ring ring when the phone rang etc. Maybe I was just not in the mood for it as I was pretty tired.

To top it all when I left the Trocadero, they were taking pictures of people and getting them to fill out surveys. I went up to the knob in a suit lording it around and complained the the film hadn't opened up to its proper ratio aspect. He tried to blame it on the flm being a rough cut then said plenty of people would have wanted to see it! I

God I missed out on people again! I was pretty near the front of the queue but was waiting for someone so ended up getting later and ended up in the second row. Wasn't anyone annoyed that the film wasn't shown at the right size?

Saw this at Shaftsbury Cineworld. My mate didn't get there til 20 past six. There were about 20 people ahead of her and the cinema was already full, so that was slightly annoying, but I did warn her earlier in the day. Diggin' the free t-shirt, though I got saddled with a small. I tried to exchange it for a medium or large but it was a no-go. Turns out it's a large small and fits without being tooooooo form fitting (I'm a bit self-conscious about the moobs).

Anyway...

Such a fantastic film. Even better than I had hoped for. The editing was masterful and the whole thing was awesomely innovative. I was sitting there grinning throughout the entirety of the movie. I really enjoyed taking it all in. Beautifully crafted and there was so much geeky-gamerness to it, but definitely not to a point where the average crowd won't get it. In fact, I'm sure there are loads of things I wouldn't even be able to pick up on- but I have to ask, did anyone else pick up the Sonic 2 nod towards the end?

Anyway, I loved this... In fact, when my girl gets back from the States, I'm gonna have to p*y to see it again with her. 10/10
