Thanks! I couldn't find any contact information or FAQ on their site, but I sent them a Tweet!Mesa7719 wrote:canadian_turtle wrote:Is anyone here familiar with the iTunes festival? Or if we show up at say 7 is there a chance it's full or we miss any support acts? Concerts I've been to in the past have usually been a lot clearer on this...
Anyone else going too btw?I applied for about 5 iTunes gigs and this was the one I was probably least excited about - but still, it's Paul Simon, it's got to be great!
I got Manic Street Preacher tickets and mine says that too. I would only suggest you try the ITunes website or if there is a customer service email/number contact them.

Do they bother checking for ID at the Roundhouse for the iTunes gigs? I won tickets for Seasick Steve but a friend is desperate to go and as I've seen him before I offered him mine. I don't want him to go all the way there only to be turned away.

Don't they have a stand-by queue, so if people with tickets have not turned up by 8pm, they let extra people in without tickets? I'd get there early to make sure you get in.canadian_turtle wrote:Is anyone here familiar with the iTunes festival? As for ID, I don't think they asked for it last year, but they did check the ticket against a clipboard, couldn't see if it was the ref. number or the barcode they were looking at. I'm sure they're aware of photoshop too.
Hope that helps. Could all be different this year though!

Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
Two years ago ID was being checked only when the act was really famous. Don't know about last year as I didn't win any tickets, and it seems like I'm heading down the same path this year.

No iTunes tickets for me either this time, but then I wasn't too fussed about any of the acts this year. Maybe if anyone goes to Paul Simon on the first night, they can report back on the ID situation.

Thanks to raj I have tickets for this gig but don't know if I will get in as afraid that they will want ID so if there is anyone else out there who has any more info on this it would be greatly appreciatedthedude wrote:No iTunes tickets for me either this time, but then I wasn't too fussed about any of the acts this year. Preferred cinemas:
Central London and North London as far north as the Hampstead Everyman including Picturehouse Hackney/Notting Hill Gate - but not Wood Green and North Finchley as they are just a bit too far.

Richard III at the Old Vic is getting great reviews so I guess no chance of free tickets! Spacey described as brilliant and immense..
