Belongings @ Trafalgar Studios

BELONGINGS

A young female soldier returns from Afghanistan to a home she no longer recognises or connects with. She has proved herself in combat but her hardest battle is yet to come, as she navigates family politics, old relationships, and the memory of betrayal.

Not actually free but this is a play that I already wanted to see and now there are £5 tickets (usually £22.50) available for Saturday evening I am planning to go. Anyone else fancy it?

I believe it transferred from Hampstead Studio (downstairs) to one of the Trafalgar Studios.

Yes I've seen it listed for Traf Studios but not at £5. Wondering where Clive saw £5 tickets on sale.

I did go and see most of Richard III and I think Kevin Spacey's performance has been almost universally praised. Try sitting close to the front and you will see how his every movement and every facial expression adds to the character greatly (some might say his acting is a little deliberate).
Richard III is a play that I am unfamiliar with, so I probably need to watch it/read it again and again to get the full meanings (hint hint to SFF!). But with classic lines like "this is the winter of our discontent" and "a horse a horse my kingdom for a horse", it is very much something to savour.
I wasn't so hot on the other actors or Sam Mendes staging (I probably should rent out Richard III with Ian McKellen as that has a similar post modern intepretation) but this really is the Kevin Spacey show (him strutting around with that hunchback and limp reminded me a little of Keyzer Soze!)
8/10 mainly to see a masterclass in acting from Kevin Spacey

SHOWFILMFIRST Vouchers should be allocated seating tickets between 6.30 and 7.15pm at the main box office. As ever, please be discrete and respect that people you are sitting with will have pa*d a lot of money for their tickets.
LOL, I don't remember seeing that before.

Yeah they've mentioned that before and I think it's quite understandable
