From The Hobbit Facebook page

To celebrate the release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, M&M’s World London is giving you the chance to win some fantastic prizes! If you're in London, get down to the store in Leicester Square between 1st-13th December to find out more!

Alas I am not in London nor going to be there so not sure what prizes there be.

I'm pleased about this bit: :p

"Happily for fantasy fans with weak stomachs, hardly anyone will actually be able to see The Hobbit in its 48fps glory, because fewer than five per cent of cinemas have the necessary equipment."

Kingston have it so I now have a handy excuse to go see the movie at least twice. This will be my 'Twihard' lol.

I see the BFI are putting on their traditional Middle Earth all nighter next week. Horribly overpriced, £19 even as a student (for OLD films, no shit, how they grow the balls to advertise £32 for a standard ticket is beyond me) hopefully there are some competitions for these tickets as the demand cant be all that high now.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

Looking forward to the Sky Rewards screening in the 02 next week!

I think they're showing it in 48fps too, which I'm very curious to see.

I hope so, really intrigued to know what the 48fps will be like. Is the balcony at the o2 good for 3d screenings or is it too far back (only seen Dark Knight rises there)

I don't think they are. Their listings of the film don't advertise it as HFR (Higher Frame Rate), which the other select cinema's already have, such as some Vue and Odeon's. So it seems doubtful they have the HFR print at the 02.

Who knows, maybe they'll procure it specially for our screening
