I hear they have Ming vases standing around in corridors and their cleaning staff drink. With a bit of luck you might see Colin Firth dangling outside your room without his trousers on.
And the total is getting close to 50!

At this rate, I will have to book the 02!
Update: Am in negotiations to get a hot deal for our gathering!

Brilliant prettyxcool, I keep on checking train fares to get the best fares as need to co-ordinate Andrews train from Durham, Jordsmum's from Liverpool and rawr_xoxo's from Birmingham and ours from Manchester so that we can all arrive at roughly the same time- Andrews might have to do a quick run from King's Cross to Euston but she is like myself and has plenty of stamina so will take it in her stride. I just love a spot of organising

You have no idea how happy you've all made me and I'm sure prettyxcool feels the same with your positive response and a massive thanks to prettyxcool for agreeing within minutes to coordinate the London side, the Manchester FMUKers for agreeing to my mad idea with such enthusiasm and to everyone who is making this day and this site so fabulous. We're going to have a ball

And as prettyxcool says getting on for 50 confirmed is pretty amazing

You shouldn't set the seed as my mind will be on overdrive. I'm afraid if you set the seed in my head it will germinate unlike OH where it would stay dormant forever.

Any preferences anyone??

Well as I don't even know whether I can attend the inaugural session, it'd be cheeky of me to make suggestions for next year. But I do think that you two, Diane65 and pxc, have missed your vocations as concierges-cum-travel agents. Now there's a business opportunity - how about a partnership?

Yes, but as with everything, I am predicting no shows.
And there's another opportunity for FMUK diversification - anyone taking bets?

I'm all in favour of an all-expenses pa*d for cruise to the Caribbean
