misseypootle wrote:was really looking forward to the 3d filming, its a shame as mentioned Coraline in 3D was excellent, this was actually the first 3d film I saw and it seems to be the norm these days that nearly all the animated films are in 3D. Maybe the cinemas are cutting costs by lot letting us have the free 3D glasses for the previews.
When we saw Coraline they only had 3D glasses you had to return - Vue cinemas don't give you free ones. There is a chance that it will be 3D tomorrow I just think it might not be as I haven't known any of the Disney ones be in 3D

In fact just checked and the cinema I've got tickets to is only advertising that they are selling tickets in 3D so fingers crossed

This film gets better with the second viewing, even though it was in 2D! Properly looked at the end pictures this time.

Why people bring screaming babies into a screening will however remain a mystery to me.

9.5/10 again!

What a fantastic film. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. Shame about the lack of 3D, as I think it would be absolutely stunning in 3d with all those balloons and colours. We were all in tears during the 'sad bits' and as we were coming out everyone was wiping their eyes, mainly the adults, the kids didnt seem too bothered. Another fab film by Disney Pixar, I especially liked the short cloud scenes at the beginning, thought they were excellent 9/10. :)

A truly wonderful film.

Alternated between howls of laughter and holding back the tears.

It was in 2D, and was still a fantastic experience because of the story and didn't need any gimmicky 3D.

My film of the year so far, can't wait to see it again on Tuesday.

I was initially disappointed that this was not in 3D but I soon got over it.

Nearly a full house at Watford. Mainly adults but some had brought their kids along  ;)

Enjoyed the short to start with, very cute and cloudy :p

So surprised by the first 10mins, so sad, I have to admit I nearly cried (had to really hold back)
This really stayed with me throughout the film. Near the end when Carl looks through Ellie's adventure book and see's the "Stuff I'm Going To Do" with pictures of their life I nearly blubbed again!

My attention did waver a bit in the middle but overall this was great family entertainment with lots of funny moments.

8/10

"Thanks for the adventure"

Great film. I was, and still am, surprised at just how good it is.
