Was tempted to have a flutter but didn't. Looks like 'The Special One' is making a difference. Maybe I should support them.

Of course he is! We're only a draw behind Arsenal, and we haven't played them in the league yet! My fantasy team is going to be a nightmare that week.

By Saturday Chelsea will be a point ahead of Arsenal. Hopefully. 3-1 Liverpool.

Fingers crossed. Gerrard for the hat trick and Ramsey for Arsenal with Wilshere for the assist (or vice versa), my fantasy team would love that. :P

I'm keeping my fingers cross for 5-2 Chelsea, though realistically I'm thinking more like 2-1.

Newcastle are one of those teams that can get battered by Norwich one week then beat the league leaders the next, so unpredictable. I'm hoping for the SAS to destroy Arsenal, Newcastle win and Liverpool can sit pretty at the top of the table!! I can dream can't I?

I know, though Norwich has been known to do that too, lol. I seem to remember them beating Manchester United last year. :P

caitlinmorton: are you sure you're not secretly an Arsenal fan? You mention Arsenal quite a lot.

I'm convinced my husband is secretly an Arsenal fan too, as he seems to talk more about Arsenal than he does the Spuds   .

Nope, but I've got Ramsey and Wilshere on my fantasy team so I tend to want them to do well.

Just remember, Arsenal may be winning the league now, but you haven't played us yet. :P

Believe it or not I like football for the skill and entertainment it provides in particular the Euro and World cup matches. I grew up with two sisters so did not really get to watch many sports otherwise I risked getting beaten up by them!
RickyRaj I often wish I was indifferent to football and any sport. I yearn for those salad carefree days. Seriously supporting a team can ruin your weekend/midweek.... It's worse when it's a late kick off on Sunday, you stress all day Saturday and most of Sunday. And if your team loses on Sunday, you're in a foul mood on Monday and if you have a Champions league match on Tuesday there's no end to the stress.

I love it when it's the summer and the season's over... Whoops, no spoke to soon, I support Arsenal, so I have to stress about who's staying, is Arsene going to b*y anyone. This normally lasts till end August/beginning September. Then season starts and we go around again.

I know someone who is an Arsenal Season Ticket Holder, as was her fiancé. They planned their wedding around the season!

NO DONT DO IT! It's worse than Candy Crush... Of course, those of you who support a team and play CC: there's no hope for a normal life :X.
