What a great opening ceremony, sorry hadnt time to comment on it till now, I was sleepy by the end of it, lol. To see the great Hawkins play a such a pivotal role in the show was a wonderful stroke of brilliance. The emphasis here was not about Britain but about the fact that there are no limitations to human endeavour no matter what obstacles or restrictions are on the path, eternity is the limit for the paralympians. It was beautifully done with a splendid narrative, an abundance of energy and lots of heart and soul, I loved it. Well done again GB and now lets rack up those medals to top off the proudest month for Britain for many decades!

I didn't know you could press Red Button on Channel 4. I'm not sure if it's supported by Freeview, it might only be Freeview HD...

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

Channel 450,451,452 are extra Paralympics channels and so glad there are no adverts.

I went to see the swimming tonight and oh my goodness, the aquatics centre has.... so.... many... steps! 8O

Word of warning: go to the toilet and/or b*y your food before you go to your seat.

Agree with you on this, funthing! We went yesterday and it's a long climb. There were a lot of very puffed people gasping for breath when they finally got to their seats! Still we thought it was great and the noise when GB won a gold last night was incredible. We are just back tonight from athletics in the Olympic Stadium -- my first time inside. Was a great night with lots of world records and another British gold.

The atmosphere is incredible there (though nothing matches what I experienced on super saturday in the Olympic stadium) and the view is great, but it just such a climb to get to the seats!

I was at athletics too tonight! What a great atmosphere! The Stadium is amazing and what a great Gold for Team GB. o/

We were at the Athletics too tonight, great to see GB win a gold, we'd been at Goal Ball earlier today and saw Turkey defeat us 7-1! We also saw some Football & Wheelchair Basketball with our day passes.

This was our first time at the Olympic Park and really had a great day, was worried our seats were going to be too high to see anything well at the Athletics (Row 66 of upper tier) but we actually had a great view of everything.
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!
