I have written most Christmas cards already. Not so hot on the presents yet though OH is mostly sorted.
Have also decorated the flat already though not b*ght the tree yet (ASDA trees cost £20 at the moment which is a mark-up of 33.33% from last year!)

My tree and decos went up on saturday only cos my daughter made the decorations and has been bugging me alllll week to put them up, i managed to hold her off til saturday! Never before in my life have I decorated before the month of December!! And my kitten is not phased one iota by sparkly baubles...phew!

Good for you chelle1973 - I spent £35 yesterday (half price at B&Q) on a 7ft artificial tree. Bargain!

Under strict instructions to not put it up until the 2nd week of December or risk parts of my anatomy permanently being detached from my body! :tears:

All Christmas cards written, but most of the presents still to b*y. As our nieces and nephews get older, they are harder to b*y for, they don't know what they want, or it's too expensive. We'll end up b*ying gift cards and hoping we've b*ght the right ones!

I'm the other way around to you Andrews nearly all the presents b*ght and wrapped but not as many cards written as I would like, I started ages ago but then stopped due to too much socialising and a bit of laziness :roll: Just got to b*y an Angry Bird pressie for great nephew - no idea what one is but I'm sure I'll find out.

I read somewhere (maybe HUKD) that Ikea are doing them for £25 and then giving purchasers £20 voucher - sounds pretty good if anyone is interested but there may be stores excluded from that deal.

Hi Diane65 (you are too kind :D ), I think I may have been mistaken on the price (30% off instead of half price) but still a good b*y I think.

I looked at others which looked better (they looked thicker and fuller) but the diameter at the bottom of them was too big to where it will be located so went for one with a smaller diameter.

Thanks for that it looks perfect as I want it for my kitchen so can't go too wide. I'll be off to B and Q at the weekend to take a look. :D
