I enjoyed the film, JGL was good and Seth Rogen was his usual self. I usually like Anna Kendrick but she annoyed me this time round. With regards to the actual content of the film, I felt it lack a certain amount of depth. Yes, it was nice to see a slightly more comedic take on cancer and it was a nice change for the cancer victim to be a young man but I kind of felt like it was all a bit safe and predictable, and considering the subject matter, it was almost devoid of emotion. The best part of the whole movie was the 10/15 minutes before Adam had his surgery; from the freakout in his car to him desperately not wanting to let go of his mother, I thought that was the sort of emotion that should have been there for the whole film.
Anyway, I like I said, I enjoyed it and I did cry... although I cry at anything
