Re: Les Misérables

#141 Post by M R M R » Mon Jan 07, 2013 7:43 am

I got the paper from someone I know, felt bad as they didn't know about the offer (why b*y a paper but not read it properly?) but saved me having to shell out lol

I kept the page it my pocket for Wreck It Ralph but I've had to hasten ahead of people who were brandishing theirs in the past when I didn't have the required paperwork!

I'd never heard of 'show the page from the paper at the screening' til yday (hanging about the news stand waiting on my mum and thought i would have a 'free' read of the mail on sunday to pass the time!) It will be hidden in my bag beside my ID...i seriously doubt they will ask to see either anyway! Just a ploy for them to sell more papers

Most screenings hosted by a mag or paper do say it but who reads the little print anyway? :shifty: You're right it's just to sell more papers to those not yet familiar with free screenings.

Just a warning, they're asking for the newspaper page at Norwich! They're doing two queues - those with the paper and those without!

Stood in a queue they MIGHT let some of us in at Kingston. Woman quite rude no idea who she is just rude.
Since when have they ever asked for the paper? I see its happening everywhere though not just here.
I've not been to a screening in ages so I made a real effort to come to this as I was excited.

Same here in Nottingham - there's 2 queues those with n those without I think they are doing because peeps were getting the tickets before the paper went on sale. Hope they don't do it for everything going forward.
