Life of Pi

Got this off a ShowFilmFirst code. It was a lovely film, although there was a little confusion over whether it would be screened in 3D. Apparently the Odeon staff thought it was 2D so when it said put on your glasses everyone rushed out to complain and they had to pause the film while staff handed them out!

This is the only film that I have ever watched in 3d that has been effective. Wonderful film.

Wouldn't say that it is small child friendly though - there were a few people at a Crawley screening with little ones. Baffling.

This also happened at the Odeon Metrocentre screening I went to. Good film but I don't think the hype is justified.

I haven't enjoyed a film this much since Avatar. I was wondering when the music from the TV trailer was going to appear.... it never did  Totally recommended!

I really enjoyed this - visually it's stunning. I think the film was really well done. I've been telling everyone to see it at the cinema in 3D as I think it's worth it - this is coming from someone who is not a 3D fan and will always see films in 2D!

I appreciated the special effects but didn't really enjoy the story. I think other members of the audience felt the same judging about the snores heard from behind me !!
