Hmmm this was really quite a let down, I had really high hopes for it. Iron Man and Thor were way better. I've still to see the Incredible Hulk.

Bit harsh to blame Sky. Hardly any of the screenings ask for ID. That tends to be left to the discretion of the cinema

Enjoyed this but agree that after the good start the second half started to lose it's way.
Not as good as Thor but miles better than Green Lantern. 7/10

Have to agree with all the above, I found Thor to be much better storywise and the way it was implemented. Chris Evans did a decent job though I found his character more interesting when he was skinny, he had more depth. The first hour or so was quite good but the last hour was very unsatisfying, it just felt rushed, quite ironic considering this was a 2 hour film. Speaking of which, we could also have had a good half an hour taken from the film, there was so much information that wasn't explored properly meaning we were stuck with snippets of info that never really went anywhere (the part about his friend for example, that drinking scene was VERY unconvincing :wall: ).

Also, I know someone would have mentioned this before but why is Chris Evans playing both Captain America and the Human Torch in Fantastic Four? Have Hollywood run out of actors? Would have been nice to see a fresh face on screen.

6/10 from me.

why?
no one's ever asked for ID other than for Harry Potter screenings and that was only due to the film's popularity.

....

anyway. I thought it was OK. The lovey dovey element wasn't done so well, Spiderman stories always manage to get the measure of that one almost right ( in terms of Marvel films). It was a little bit long and drawn out at the start though i guess we needed that information.

i thought the baddie guy (i cant even remember his name and know nothing of this comic sorry) looked like Jim Carey in The Mask, but red. i assume though that it was what the comic character looks like so it doesn't really matter. But it made me want to laugh more than it made me afraid or grossed out or however it is i'm supposed to have felt.

lots of little bits in it that i found quite amusing, though not sure if i was supposed to or not .. can't remember anything specific mind you.

it was ok. my mum loved it but i was a bit nonplussed. from films this week i'd day i much preferred super 8, though i thought it would be the other way around.

6.5/10

I found the movie to be better than I expected, quite enjoyed it 8/10

I did complain to sky re the issues at o2, this is the response i got back

Hello Russell,
i'm sorry for your experience. Having discussed the matter with Cineworld they have advised that in future they need an hour to get everybody into Sky Superscreen and to get the film started.
We will be discussing here and amending our timings accordingly.
Sky Rewards

I am really surprised by this, an hour, to fill the screen. It isn't that large, easily done in half of that, has been before, so why a change.

Anyone any thoughts to this.
