I'm still watching the Event and though it has improved a lot, but I know deep down it will suffer the same fate as Flashforward because it simply isnt that gripping.

I've watched the first episode of the Walking Dead and that rocked. Cant wait for the episode that Kevinknapman and Valda rave on about where the women do washing up...sounds rivetting!

But right now the best show for me is Fringe and unfortunately, this great sci fi series may be in its last season because the horrible Fox network in America has moved it to a Firday night death slot. A time slot that is apparantly reserved for shows that they will kill. Its devastating news. At least I hope they are able to wrap the series up properly, then I would actually be happy. But going by this network track record, chances will be slim.

This is a few days old but against all odds of the Friday night death slot in America, Fox has renewed Fringe for a complete 22 episode 4th season!

That's brilliant news but I kind of hope that it will be the last season so we can have a proper ending to this great series, rather than it go on to outstay its welcome like X Files and Smallville had done for 10 years. When a series goes on for too long, actors leave, and story lines lose the essence of what the series was to begin with. "Lost" did it right regardless of what people thought of the ending.

This might be worth a look if it gets shown over here. Its a new sci-fi series produced by Steven Speilberg and stars Noah Wyle from ER

Production looks great. Will definitely check this out when it finally arrives at these shores. But the storyline look pretty basic and unoriginal. I recognise the main female star that was in a series called Journeyman. A great time travel series that only lasted one season and then got dropped due to the writers strikes. Big shame.

Wow I have just discovered this thread and it is pretty much tailor made to me. I watch pretty much all the big US shows (I am a TV addict :shifty: ) and I am often inpatient so sometines watch episodes online before they air in the UK.

Have people been watching The Event after its mid-season break? The new episodes have definitely picked up the pace and I am glad they have ditched the flashbacks (reminded me too much of Lost).

I am super excited about Game of Thrones starring Bean which starts on Sky Atlantic in 18th April. There has been a lot of hype surrounding this so I hope it is good.

The Borgias is also a show I've got my eye on when it comes to Sky Atlantic.

I do envy you sky owners sometimes...though not what you have to fork out for it ;) I too like Sean Bean. Even in small parts he makes an impact. Just the other day for instance, I was watching Equilibrium, and he stole the heart of the movie in just a few minutes screen time. He's good at exhibiting confused sincerity, even as a bad guy like in Goldeneye. And he was awesome in my favourite death scene in modern cinema in LOTR. Though not all time favvourite death scene, that accolade goes to some one in El CID (dont want to say who in case any of you havent seen it)

Please let us know what you think of Game of Thrones when its on :)

did you guys see the teaser pic of George R R Martin's new manuscript that's finally been delivered to his publishers??? I so hope that Game of Thrones is good, I've been looking forward to it ever since I heard it had been taken up and licenced. I've also been following the extra show rewards via The Maesters Path, if you haven't already done so you should join as my novices using this link (shameless plug) ;)

The extra video clips have wetted my appetite even more and the ads on sky look promising, plus it HBO which are usually decent for this kind of show...

Can't wait for Game of Thrones, I've been waiting for such a long time, really excited! Did you see all the pics/tweets/videos from WonderCon? Fans were taking pics on the iron trone. Cool!

America's HBO network just released this 15 minute preview of Game of Thrones. Just watched it and damn, its well GORY! They're not holding anything back here. The production is lavish though, gives a real sense of the times. The cinematography is pretty awesome too.

Warning some really gory scenes (stay away, weirdfilms!)

Normally these American channels lock their videos by region but not this one so we can all enjoy it. I cant get it to run in Chrome though, but runs fine in Firefox and Internet Explorer.
