Apologies if this has been covered here or elsewhere already but I can't find an answer...

I'm not a Sun Perks/+ member and have kindly been offered tickets for Godzilla this Tuesday - the tickets are obviously not in my name and state you must bring your Sun membership card/ID.

How strict are cinema staff with these generally? Its one thing not having tickets in my name but I'm also not a Sun perks member either. Should I risk it?

never been asked for card....however, there was a "guest list" for "Captian America"

just remember what name is on the ticket & bluff having no id in your wallet & you should be hunky dory

You don't say whether you are male and tickets are in a female name, or vice versa, although that ought not to matter too much either - you just claim they were booked by your g'friend/b'friend (delete as appropriate). I've never been asked to show a SunPlus card yet, and don't actually remember even seeing a Sun rep - usually it is just a generic usher who couldn't care less. I think there is an option to download a temporary SunPlus card anyway if one hadn't received theirs.
Bottom line - unless you are travelling a great distance, or trying to impress a special +1 then I'd definitely say well worth the minimal risk.

The guest list in Gladgow was for competition ford and nothing to do with the Sun.
We've rarely even got a Sun rep at screenings so never been asked for card in Glasgow.
As newdot says . . .just be prepared to bluff it though I'd doubt if you'll have any probs.
