Last night I watched My Son, My Son What Have Ye Done and Welcome To Sarajevo. The latter was superb - disturbing and moving and a very important film in my view. The former was disappointing given that you can usually expect such a lot from a Werner Herzog film.

Come Dine With Me: where the hostess served non-alcoholic wine and didn't serve the food herself, so it didn't go down that well with the guests, especially the former when they found out (although one guest did suspect).

I've been watching Bouquet of Barbed Wire and i'm loving it, I've got a bit of a theory...

[spoiler]I think the son in law is really Trevor Eve's son, so he's having an incestuous relationship with his wife. And i think Paula was the son in law's mum and Trever Eve killed her[/spoiler]

Anyway what I'd like to know is, did anyone see the original one in the 70's and if so how much does this version differ?

Found myself turning the TV onto Channel 4 last night and started watching a bit of Alien with no intention of watching it all but found myself being sucked in and ended up watching it all. Now it's happening again tonight with Aliens.
