I'm so sorry for your loss, Beate. I always used to enjoy bumping into you both at screenings and remember him very fondly. He was a real character, always friendly not only to myself and others that he knew but often to complete strangers as well. I have already missed those times as it hasn't been possible more recently and will be thinking of you now as you come to terms with this sad loss.

RIP John. I have many fond memories from the first time I met Beate and John over 6 years ago for dinner at Pizza Express in London, London meet ups, picnic in the park and on your day trip to Manchester. John was like a ray of sunshine - sending my heartfelt condolences to you Beate.
