I feel like I've done a lot of sleeping since getting up to Scotland. Mind you, like you, I never stop during the rest of the year - we both deserve a bit of down time! I'm still doing the same now eating and watching tv. It's the only day of the year that I don't leave the house at all and happy to sit and just be. I just ordered a very nice Christmas tree for next year in the sales for half price (have seen it in real life but mega expensive at full price) so very happy

I just like things to be as normal as possible - 24 hours of Xmas is fine, but any more and I'd be longing to get back to reality. So I still went out for my usual walks yesterday and today and spent the extra spare time reading, which was a rare treat, especially as I borrowed a couple of "Can't put it down" books from the library just in time. Of course I rattled through them both in hours and read a third (albeit short) this afternoon. It suits me fine if others like to spend their time in the shops or at sporting fixtures; anything which leaves me in peace!
