Having a bit of a nightmare getting a few parcels to me and still lacking a few presents but the tree is up, the cards are out and I am having fun sourcing Christmas-themed chick lit from the library. How is everyone else doing?

1 tree is up but nowhere else festively decorated as yet. Most cards are written and everything I have b*ght is wrapped. I've taken a day off work tomorrow so will finish all the cards especially the ones where I write letters (I'm old fashioned and still do handwritten letters) and get delivering some pressies as working late every night during the week until Christmas Eve and most people are busy at weekends so won't want an unexpected guest (ie me) turning up with pressies. Planning on finishing the decorations next weekend so will be all very festive :xmas:

We have so many organised people here. :D

I have all the presents, some of which have been wrapped and delivered (family visited earlier in September/October). Some cards have been written, but so many more yet to do. Not to worry, I'll get it done. As for the tree, maybe next weekend. :xmas:

Oh dear, I think I'm going to be the last person organised this year . . . but my dad is organised because I've spent all me time getting his presents and cards b*ght.
Starting tomorrow, I am going to try and focus more time on my own cards and shopping . . . :cross: I have b*ght a few things over the internet so at least I do have some gifts to give. :xmas:

Yodel is a joke. They "delivered" one of my orders then neglected to tell anyone to whom so I had to have it delivered again. The next order they delivered a day late. They have taken the biscuit now so though with the latest parcel that should have been delivered today but is still in transit and has apparently been lost or stolen. So Amazon have ordered replacements but one item will not arrive before Tuesday and the other item is temporarily out of stock - and that was my Mum's Christmas present. The last posting date for Germany is tomorrow anyway. I am apopleptic.

Also, unrelated, but I have had a look at the TV programme over Christmas and while there is some good stuff, I cannot find Love Actually. Is that possible? If anyone can see it anywhere please let me know!

The in laws are coming tomorrow and Sunday so I have some presents to wrap now. Which I hate.

Yodel has royally fudged up everywhere it seems, even for our store delivers as well, weve had to divert our stock to other couriers and just hope for the best!

Speaking of which, it's Christmas.
I fudging hate working in retail at fudging christmas!!

Literally, since July, I've had nothing but lovely, kind and caring customers.
Now its like every knobhead in the galaxy has emerged from a wormhole just for the past 2 weeks. Can I get it guaranteed by Christmas? No, cause we don't control the postal companies. But what if I need it guaranteed?
THEN YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE LEFT IT TILL 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE GOD DAMN DAY TO ORDER IT YOU IDIOT.
Can I get a discount on this? No. But it's christmas. The answer is still no. Well I hope you go out of business(while proceeding to b*y the item)
Your toilets are absolutely filthy! Id like to complain to a manager!
Go to the 1st floor and ask for Costa's manager, theyll help you with your complaint. Why the hell would I want to do that? Get me YOUR manager, NOW! They're costa's toilets, not ours, you need to speak to their manager, not mine(silently screaming internally GET OUT OF THE QUEUE THERE'S 12 PEOPLE WAITING TO p*y!)
Isn't it b*y one get one half price? yes ont he stickered items only. but that item was on the table so it must be half price. STICKERED. ITEMS. ONLY.

Sorry had to get that out.
