Maybe someone should create a new topic in the Film Discussion forum called 'Extra Free Film Tickets Available'. That way people can post in there everytime new tickets become available on existing codes, and anyone who wants to be notified of such things can subscribe to that topic and receive the notifications. Just a thought.

If ive said anything offensive to anyone on this site, then please remove me.
But please dont bark orders at me. I am clearly not the only person that doesnt like alerts about extra tickets

If I might put my thoughts into the hat as well.

Even though I agree with pretty much everyone on this forum that chat in the free films thread is annoying, I think on this occasion it's being blown way out of proportion. hdaniel was not just chatting but trying (very kindly might i add) to make sure everyone gets a shot at getting free tickets. i, for one, actually appreciate these notifications letting me know that i can have another try at getting tickets for a certain film.

It is a free country and yes, you can express your opinion helen. But expressing it quite this forcefully when a regular member like hdaniel is really just trying to provide ticket options is maybe not the best way to make yourself heard.

I agree, and I think everything has been said so I would like to stop this from escalating and say can we rest this topic please. I will look into alternative options for alerting people, but I do have a day job as well, so might not be instantly.
