It may be at the discretion of the cinema attendant, I have tried this in Crawley Cineworld and it was not allowed.marjoreemarjora wrote:not got the reminder email yet.
Was thinking of printing off two tickets, giving one to dear daughter and when I get in, if no tickets or seats are handed out, tell them there is only me and that she has other ticket and will be number two, So there are only two of us on the one ticket. they could simply put a one against my name on the list?? I could sit inside and keep her seat.
What do you guys think.
Perhaps your husband could do that Beate.

For a normal preview I have done just this at Crawley and it worked well, but that wasn't so special an event.

Or maybe the staff conferred afterwards, thought it was some sort of scam and decided not to allow it in future?

If my ticket has my husband's name on it, but I'm the one going, do you think that will be a problem? I have ID proving our last names are the same..

No that is not a problem, Sky have issued an e-mail to say family members can use the tickets if their surnames match.Judesmom wrote:If my ticket has my husband's name on it, but I'm the one going, do you think that will be a problem? I have ID proving our last names are the same..

Here's a thought:
When they say "Seat numbers will be allocated on arrival", does that mean as people arrive? ie they will give out seat numbers earlier (say 5.30pm) but the doors wont open until 6pm. Do we think we can get our names marked off the guest list and get our tickets earlier but then come back once the screen is open?
