Disappointing start but let's keep it in perspective. Overall we played pretty well - it was just a silly mistake and hopefully Greene has learned a harsh lesson that will help him go on to better things.

Yeah at least England didnt lose...and tbh honest they got the formation but as with previous world cups, they dont go for the kill, they're too bottled up on the main occasion. Heskey worked so hard yet the goal opportunities he made had no fire in them and just looked like simple passes to the US goal keeper. Desperately dissapointing.

Anyway, rooting for them all the way but they need that killer blow to their game- blast frickn ball in!

They need to watch Shaolin Soccer.

Exactly - we now just to keep focused on getting the 7 points.

More importantly Donavan did not score - I can't stand him. He made $$$$ from slagging off Beckham going on loan and then does exactly the same himself.... Talk about double standards.

For once I think as a team player Heskey did well but he needs to finish off more and must start to score. Rooney was too quiet and the decision to take Milner off was correct, he was too loose a cannon this evening.

Gutted! Image Bf doesn't really care for the beautiful game (it's not american football  ) but took the US side, obviously. I had to keep nudging, pinching and nibbling him the whole game cos he was doing a running commentary and making fun of our team! That ain't allowed!!! Image

Bring on the next match! We're gonna kick some a$$. This was just a warm up! o/

Oh and I agree, des, Donovan is a twit!
