well after all the effort I've put in today I'm out most of the day tomorrow :(

Just remembered that Heat and FHM (I think) are out tomorrow morning. Heat might have a code, not so sure about FHM with it being a monthly.

oh no, what a shame, and tomorrow is the last day. I have always been 6 days behind from the beginning, have not really caught up at all. It's been quite a challenge though. ;)

Thanks to Turtle, I attended the Premiere of In Time tonight at Curzon Mayfair.... my first real Premiere with a nice glossy ticket!!!

After a very short introduction by the director (forgot his name) and Justin Timberlake, the movie actually started before the announced 7.30... not wasting time here!

I found In Time very watchable; the plot is rather weak but the concept is very interesting, and got us debating on our way back to the tube station!
I am not a huge fan of JT but he actually did a good job and was pretty credible as Will; the rest of cast was good as well, although nobody was really shinning.

It could probably have been better directed and better written, but I still found it very entertaining as it was!

Well, I really, really loved it. Perhaps the script was weak, I don't know. I was far too distracted by Matt Bomer. I mean, the fascinating concept of it all. I love dystopian stories and this was one like nothing I'd ever heard before and really made me think about how it all came to be and how it worked. But despite this it still didn't feel hard to follow (the action sequences with awesome cars certainly helped to keep it all light). Great baddies too in the shapes of Cillian Murphy (pronounced with a K apparently - did not know this!), Alex Pettyfer and Vincent Kartheiser (whom until I just IMDB-ed him I didn't realise was Connor from Angel!). And man, can Amanda run in high heels - impressive!

One minor think that did annoy me throughout the movie is that everyone is supposed to look 25 when Alex Pettyfer so clearly looks younger and Matt Bomer and Cillian Murphy clearly look a lot older. Still, they were all very, very pretty (well, Cillian, was very, very creepy).

In short: good fun!

Introduction by the director and Justin T was unfortunately very short with Amanda and Cillian not saying anything (except for Amanda commenting on her own dress as they walked off again). They did walk right past me but I didn't get very good photos, it was too fleeting.

A highly enjoyable film that is not afraid to flaunt its two good looking leads. The premise that time has replaced money as currency is a very interesting concept so I have to give the film credit for its original idea. Despite being easy enough to follow, the origin of this story is never really explained (we never find out how or why the world ended up with this system) nor are the ethics explored that much.

The film is heavily biased towards its chase scenes, for which there are more than necessary (but they are fun to watch). Timberlake is competent in the lead but the dialogue does not allow much scope for a great performance. Seyfried looks good but does seem to have the same expression on her face throughout the film. Murphy was cool, slick and creepy, probably the best character in the film.

Yes, the film is full of plot holes and there is no character development, but it is still entertaining fun and the audience is left with some interesting discussion points. 7/10.

I ran into Amanda when I went to the toilet and she was fixing her make up. I didn't have a camera with me though! :(

:thanks: for the head up raineylb so busy refreshing pages trying to get the last couple of codes would have missed that.

it seems a few people hae been tricked by the non-functioning metro-online code of IRO44 and commenting on FB
