Man of Steel
Re: Man of Steel
the immortal donner movie is / was a cheesey piece of cheese.
and i'm not just saying this in retrospect. It so happens that the donner superman was the very first film i ever saw at the cinema.
I thought it was cheesey (and bad cheese at that...) at the tender age of 8 & don't think any better of it at the ancient age of 43.
that said, i did have an immortal doner last saturday, chilli &lemon sause and all the salad, but hold the cucumber. cucumber is the devil's work.

I still love it anyway! At least it wasn't this:
Re: Man of Steel
It feels like the longest wait since I first saw a trailer last summer

Re: Man of Steel
I loved this movie.
The only fault that I could find with M.o.S. was with Amy Adam's weak portrayal of Lois Lane. Margot Kidder's Lois Lane was a lot more fiesty, and I personally felt that a stronger female role would have been better, especially for the modern day.
The rest was excellent, and I would wholeheartedly recommend catching it in the cinema before it stops being aired.
Looking forward to M.o.S. becoming M.o.$. since the sequels are surely nicely lined up. I would quite happily p*y again, and I don't say that lightly.

Re: Man of Steel
I've not yet seen this but really should have made the effort . . . maybe this week . . . after the sun goes down!
Given there has not been a lot of sun in Scotland so far this summer, I'm making the most of it!

Really looked forward to seeing this film but it turned out not to be my cup of tea at all. It didnt make me care for the characters at all and although the effects were great it just seemed to go on and on far too long and I was looking forward to it ending
