When I cancelled I did it via Live Chat and then got an email of the transcript sent to me so I had proof.

The only way to cancel is to use Live Chat as akh43 has written. There is no problem using Live Chat to cancel but make sure you allow at least 7 days before end of your membership month.

I have never cancelled mine, I've pa*d with PayPal and as soon as the payment went through I disabled their access to my account so they can't take money from it again the next month. Saves me having to remember to cancel!

It is important to disable access on Paypal otherwise they can just help themselves. I thought my making a Paypal payment was a one-off and that I would have to authorize another payment (or not) but then discovered that they set it up as a recurring payment, which you have to uncheck to stop it happening.

Easiest way is to open a new account each month using a code from the paper, nothing to cancel then it just expires and they have no payment details.

That's what I meant that I had done ;) It says in their T&Cs that the membership is automatically renewed each month so it doesn't matter how you p*y they they will take a next payment unless you take action (whether to cancel the membership or disable their access to your account).

Reason I've pa*d for the membership is that it came with perks such as a £10 Tesco gift card. I thought that was worth it as I basically got £9 free Tesco credit just for signing up :)
