Me too. Although I definitely wasn't one of the people complaining. Although it wasn't clear on the printout, It did say it had a 3pm start on the Times + website. Personally I think it's a bit rude complaining about the hour wait. Yes it was unnecessary (I think 90% of the audience were in their seats by 2.30 plus some of the kids were getting restless) but we were given the opportunity to see a major (if not THE major) blockbuster of the summer one full month before it's release in the UK for FREE!! I think just putting up with the minor inconvenience of an hours wait was the least we could do. Some people are just so ungrateful!

^^ I agree, I wouldn't have complained about waiting. We were in a lovely screen and given a great opportunity to see a much anticipated film. However I wonder if people with younger children found it more difficult. On the other side, the ticket wasn't clear but I understand their reasoning. It was able to start at 3pm without latecomers trying to find odd seats in the dark as the film started so it worked out well.

I really loved the film, absolutely fantastic and I'm so happy I got to see it. 9.5/10 from me - I wholeheartedly recommend it. Wasn't too wowed with the 3D though. It was visually stunning but not out of this world. Maybe I'm getting used to 3D films but I like to be wowed by it and nothing came out at me. Was I doing / wearing it wrong? I remember watching the new Superman at the IMAX and the things were literally floating around me - now that is what I expect from a 3D film.

Oh and I saw the woman who works for the company that organises the Times Screenings - she was our saviour at the Lovely Bones fiasco at Odeon Greenwich. I nearly greeted her like an old friend and then I realised that she would have no idea who I was. She also looked quite busy. Thought twice about approaching her, she may have asked me to produce my times+ card :shifty: :D

And I'm all for a mid afternoon start. I hate these early Sunday morning films - its a killer getting up sometimes (I know, I know, I should not complain, that's what I tell myself!). Now 2pm - 3pm is a perfect time on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

I completely agree. How can you constantly complain about free stuff, especially those that you aren't technically entitled too, ie I had approximately 50 people in front and 50 people behind me and I can guarantee you not one showed a times+ card. So why send back feedback on complaining? Get over it. I prefer them to start later than advertised then start earlier than whats on the email!!! Goodness.

Anyway the email said "door opens at 2pm," with that I would not have assumed it starts at 2:30pm, I would have assumed it starts when the cinema is either packed out or there has been enough people there! Anyway most people should be lucky with the wait. Most people got their seats first AND then went and got popcorn, drinks, visiting toilets etc....

If people keep complaining, they might just do what SFF and Sky do and either really enforce their rules or remove us from their database, limit access to the website of getting tickets etc!

bevvy had a two year old with her and a four/five year old child (well I think he is :shifty:) and I didnt see bevvy complain or the baby do anything that showed she was restless! She just sat there quietly.

If bevvy doesn't complain I don't think anyone else should! I didn't see any kids younger than 2!
