Just b*ght a pumpkin this morning and wow how far does it go - so far I have made a pumpkin, lentil and pea curry, pumpkin soup, almost made pumpkin samosas - just done the filling but need to go back to work so will finish tonight and have the rest baking in the oven to make pumpkin muffins http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j& ... YngcmmZ2Lg just hope OH remembers to take it out in 90 mins (it is on a timer)
All those meals on a £1.50 pumpkin
- I will be freezing lots of it as I'm not quite that greedy

I've been naughty today and just finished a chicken & honey black pepper noodle dish from Peticoat lane food stalls. I'll burn it off tonight when I go for a jog. That's what I keep telling myself anyway!

I improvised as I don't like marzipan so used whipped cream, also couldn't find kirsch so used raspberry liqueur. If you need hints as regards genoise and patisserie check out programme 9 of the great british bake off, the technical challenge, I had never made genoise before and the first effort was a little flat; apparently its all in the length of time you whisk the mixture for.
