Thought I'd resurrect this thread once again.

Last night I watched Anchorman, which I had heard a lot about but never actually seen. I was very impressed. It's a very unintelligent film but some funny jokes, Steve Carell's hilarious character and a host of cameos make this superior to the rest of Will Ferell's films.

Did anyone else see Spooks last night? Have watched it for years and have to say the plot line this series is quite different. New characters are settling in well. Surprising story line with Lucas and can't wait for next weeks final series episode. then what am I going to watch?? Oh yes, Doctor Who specials should be coming along soon :D

I'm so behind with Spooks at the moment. I really miss Ros and I'm not feeling Lucas. Since Adam and the Ros I've been having problems getting into it as much as I used to.

I think I'm a couple of eps behind

I love that tooo. I like it when the boss goes undercover and he's 'fired' on the first day or told he just has to work harder!!!

Spooks: I find it's ok. But it's like James Bond on TV isn't it (without the great toys though), you want a more realistic programme where maybe one of them get injured.

Started watching The Event too, which would be better if they didn't flashback every 10 seconds.

Oh and of course, I watched Come Dine With Me, Jamies' 30 Minute Meals and Gordon Ramsey!

They do get injured and killed. Think the plots are quite current and could watch Richard Armitage all day since I saw him in North & South

Again, another resurrection of this thread!

Last night, I watched Sam Mendes' Road To Perdition. I hadn't seen it before. I thought some of the action scenes were choreographed very well, but it's slightly predictable and I think comparisons to The Godfather is a little far-fetched. Still, it's a good film - 7/10
