I think in this case it sounds good. As they can fill seats when there are no shows. For This Means War it was a specific comp for a pair of tickets I think that were already reserved for this exact case. I don't see why they shouldn't fill the seats if there turns out to be any left though

It's a risk to take as with everything people queue for (day seats for theatre, tickets to concerts, meeting celebs, etc ;)).

Well what next? they will do queues for SFF screenings? if there are empty seats?
I agree at least in this case it's a bit better, with premieres they are trying to cynically get a bigger crowd of people to turn up.

I am listening to the soundtrack too, creepy! (I like listening to the whole thing in a row - it's only 39 mins and a lot of the other songs are fantastic too such as Life's a Happy Song, Pictures in My Head and (not originals) We Built This City and Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard)

I have tickets for Sunday locally now too, but as Saturday was already planned we will go into London and if we all love it as much as you guys all seem to, will see it on Sunday as well.
