Germany have as good as won the Cup already. They were terrifyingly good.

Hey, I came to that opinion after just a few minutes of the game. Their discipline and teamwork and pace was enough to show they'd been training hard, and they gel well.
To say they've outperformed every team so far would be a massive understatement, poor as their opposition were.

I am quite surprised that even for a New Zealand vs Slovakia game, the stadium is quite full...

When Aus played Germany there were quite a few Aussies in the crowd (judging from how many people appeared to be singing the national anthem) so perhaps quite a few Antipodeans have travelled..?

I found the commentary on the red button by Chris Moyles & Comedy Dave far superior to any I have ever heard before in my entire life. They actually made an otherwise boring game slightly interesting. I believe they will be doing it again on friday.
