Tower heist was better than what I expected. The free popcorn at the Virgin screening was nice surprise. I was slighty suspicious thinking is the popcorn to cover up some issue with the screening. Low and be hold there was a technical difficulty with the projector. Got to the point where they threatened to show Johnny English! Luckily they sorted the technical issue out by 7!

This could've been worse, but was rather enjoyable. Not a typical barrel of laughs but some good one liners in there. Strong cast though and you could argue that you'd expect more because of this. Overall, held well and was a good 'free' night out.

was this so bad? I read a review written about it by a pro newspaper writer. He said Eddie Murphy was crap in this, but he was great. What a twit that writer is, no wonder I dontread newspapers these days...

This movie was lightweight, sure, and glosses over some points that could have made it an outstanding Italian Jobsque film, but its still fun if not quite that movie its still an enjoyable xeroxed xerox of it.

What was wrong with Attack The Block? I loved that film! One of my fave free previews of this year :)
you had to wait 20 minutes between each decent joke in the movie.

I also thought Eddie Murphy was bad in this though the film was bearable.

I caught this at Boldon a couple of weeks ago, and found it largely entertaining in many respects. The plot was a bit corny, and the good guys accomplish an impossible feat in an incredibly short time. The film galloped along, and Stiller was a likeable hero. Matthew Broderick, Casey Affleck and Gabourney Sidibe provided solid support too. Usually, I find that Eddie Murphy ruins any film that he's in, but I felt his performance was toned down somewhat, and I didn't find him nearly as obnoxious as I normally do.

Entertaining - 7/10 from me.

It seems a few people got asked for ID at this last Virgin screening, how was it in Manchester?

I've got tickets for Mission Impossible 4 not in my name and a change of name email from showfilmfirst, that should ok shouldn't it?
